Thailand is a country in Southeast Asia. Thailand has three official seasons – hot, rain and cool but most of year in Thailand is hot. Today we will share 3  seasons in Thailand.

Seasons In Thailand

Hot Season

The hot season is from mid-February through May. Temperatures during the hot season can reach 40 degrees peaking in the month of April. This season many people like to go to the beach in southern Thailand and in April we have a Songkran holiday between 13-15 every year, as you know this water festival marks the beginning of the traditional Thai New Year. People will turn on air-conditioning too much. We recommend you wear comfortable  clothes and drink more water.

Rainy season

The rainy season is between June and October of every year. Temperatures during the rainy season still average 30 degrees. According to Thailand has bad drained ground, it’s easy to get flooded everywhere. Same like in our area when heavy rain as 2-3 hours will have flooded road but will reduce in 30 min. When happened like this I will wear the rain boots, a raincoat and carry an umbrella.

Cool season

The cool season is between November and February. In Thailand still hot in daytime and a little bit cool in the night time. Temperatures hover between 32 and 36 degrees in the daytime and between 17 and 26 degrees at the night time. If you want to feel cool, we recommend you to go to north Thailand or the mountainside. This is the best season in Thailand to visit.

By the way, what is the best seasons in Thailand for you? In my opinion, I think all seasons in Thailand is not bad to visit because you can find activities and enjoy in any moment, but in this situation from Covid19 we need to be careful and stay safe.

I hope everything will be alright soon. Thank you.
